Biggest rises
Lazio: when the decade started, Lazio was coming off a 17th place season, where they survived their first season back in Serie A after getting promoted in 2038. For the first half of the decade, they were a mid-table club, finishing between 6th and 12th every season from 2040 to 2044, but in the second half of the decade, they were a consistent Champions League club, finished top 4 every season, won the league one year, and reached a Champions League final.
Southampton: This one was quick because Southampton won the Champions League in 2043, but in 2040, they finished 10th and in 2041, they finished 9th. But after that, other than a 6th-place finish the year they won the Champions League, they have finished in the top 4 every year.
Pescara: Pescara started the decade as a mid-table Serie A club, but by the end of the decade, they were a consistent top-7 team.
Schalke: Spent most of the decade as a mid-table Bundesliga club, but in the last 2 years of the decade, they qualified for Champions League.
Biggest falls
West Ham: Before their Champions League win in 2044, West Ham was one of the best clubs in England, finishing in the top 3 every year from 2040-43. But in 2044, they finished 8th in the Prem despite winning the Champions League, and ever since then, they have finished between 8th and 13th in the league, and haven't qualified for any European competitions.
Leverkusen: At the start of the decade, it looked like Leverkusen were on the up, slowly making a return to their former selves, with an 11th place finish in 2040 and an 8th place finish in 2041. But after that, it went downhill. 13th in 2042, then 16th in 2043, 15th in 2044, then in 2045, it finally happened. Leverkusen was relegated in 2045, and it took them 3 seasons to return, and when they did, they immediately went down again.
